Terms of Service.
Please read these Terms carefully. By clicking "Sign Up" or using our API/Platform, you agree to be bound by these restrictions and conditions.
01. Definitions
"Platform" refers to the Script2Shorts web application, API, and associated services.
"Generations" refers to any video, image, or text content produced by the Platform.
"Credits" refers to the virtual currency used to pay for Generations.
02. Intellectual Property (IP)
Your Ownership
You retain full commercial ownership of validly generated content. You own the copyright to your videos, subject to compliance with these Terms.
However, you grant Script2Shorts a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, and display your Inputs and Generations solely for the purpose of operating the Service (e.g., rendering the video) and, unless you opt-out, featuring selected works in our "Community Showcase."
03. Payment & Refunds
Subscription: Billed monthly or annually. You may cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
No Refunds: Except as expressly provided in our Refund Policy (48-hour guarantee for new users), all purchases are final. We do not refund for "unused" Credits at the end of a billing cycle.
04. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
You agree NOT to use the Platform to generate:
Any sexually explicit, pornographic, nude, fetish, or other adult content is prohibited, whether realistic, stylized, animated, consensual, or non-consensual. Child sexual abuse material and exploitative sexual content are strictly forbidden.
Realistic depictions of public figures, politicians, or private individuals without consent.
Content promoting violence, discrimination, or harassment.
Consequence: We reserve the right to ban any account violating this AUP immediately and without refund.
05. Disclaimers
"AS IS" Service: The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that AI generation will be error-free or meet your specific artistic expectations.
Liability: In no event shall Script2Shorts be liable for any indirect, punitive, or consequential damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the last 6 months.
06. Legal Protections
Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to API failures (third-party AI providers), denial-of-service attacks, labor disputes, or government actions.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Script2Shorts Team from any claims, damages, or legal fees arising from your use of generated content (e.g., copyright infringement lawsuits from third parties) or violation of these Terms.
Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve any disputes with Script2Shorts on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
